As I sat back in my reclining chair, the news came on with a heading on the bottom. The title read, Women receives first cell phone implant. I was astonished, but I was more confused than anything, they proceeded to a commercial break with the women, herself, being interviewed next. The popcorn crunched in my mouth as I waited eagerly for the show to come back on.
"Here we are in Orlando, Florida, where I am standing with the first women to ever get her very own iPhone implanted in her face," said Robert, from channel 45 news.
I couldn't believe it. I had so many questions I wanted answered. What did she look like? How could she charge it? Answer it? hear it? Just then they panned over to the women, with Robert, outside the hospital.
"I am Robert, reporting live with Jessica, and Jessica, why did you get this done?" Said Robert.
They zoomed in on her face, it was hideous. It looked as if there was a brick laying under her skin right on her forehead.
"Well Robert, I was really tired of carrying my phone around and having to hold it against my ear, so this simple operation made it easy for me," replied Jessica.
"How do you answer your phone and charge it?" He said.
" Answering my phone is a little tricky, I have to slam my head against an object, so the phone can receive the signal to answer. To charge it, there is a little flap on my forehead that I can peel back. The downside is, I have to stand by an outlet the whole time," she said.
What is wrong with this women. She is in her early twenties, and ruined her life.
Ended class.
